A very special one-of-a-kind and limited edition item - The Red Envelope Coaster Set! Handcrafted and hand-finished out of solid Bloodwood, each one of the five coasters features a different design with a variety of inlaid exotic hardwoods, ranging from Osage Oranges with Lignum Vitae leaves to Yellowheart Chinese calligraphy characters. These coasters are a celebration of the tradition of handing red envelopes out during Lunar New Year, but can be used by you, friends, and family all year long. The process in desiging and crafting each individual coaster took weeks and was very labor-intensive, but all worth it for the beautiful coaster set end result.
These special coasters were carefully designed, cut, smoothed, and finished with a durable water-based varanthane. Over time, the wood surface will beautifully patina, a reminder of all the wonderful times sitting around with friends around the coffee table.
